A vision for Whitehaven
The Othmaniyah
Islamic Campus.
A 5.4-acre community campus inspired by the kulliye tradition: faith at the center, practical service all around it.
The idea
More than a building. An ecosystem of care.
A kulliye is a group of buildings centered around a mosque and dedicated to social good. Historically, these campuses included schools, kitchens, clinics, hospitality, and other charitable services.
Memphis Dawah Association is bringing that model to Whitehaven through spaces for prayer, education, a farmers market, food relief, health initiatives, radio, and community gathering.
