Who we are
Serving Oakhaven and Whitehaven for over 15 years.
Memphis Dawah Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2015. Our objective is to provide the public with authentic traditional knowledge about Islam alongside practical community services.
Our history includes ESL classes, lectures on Islamic faith, African American history and the Renaissance, public education against violent extremism, food assistance, and collaborations that help residents access local resources.
We welcome people of goodwill who want to improve our neighborhoods and build a flourishing local community.
